Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Chulalongkorn University (CUURP)
Established in 1975, the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Chulalongkorn University is the oldest and largest planning school in Thailand, with 15 full-time faculty members, 10 adjunct instructors, and about 200 undergraduate and graduate students. Our faculty and students are engaged in research projects related to planning and policy issues, ranging from traditional spatial planning to socio-economic development and environmental policy. In addition to its research activities, the Department is engaged in consulting projects commissioned by the Thai government, foundations, and international organizations.
